Notes
Notes is a powerful feature for writing and organizing all the information for your project, from plot and characters to research and world lore. Unlike a simple text editor, Notes is designed to help you build complex, interconnected systems like wikis, knowledge bases, and codex.
Each Notes page can link to other pages, allowing you to create a network of interconnected information. This structure not only makes it easy for you to navigate your work, but it also helps AI models (LLMs) understand the context of your project, making it simple to ask questions about your content.
Navigation and Categories
The sidebar on the left acts as your main navigation, displaying a hierarchical view of your content. To create a new category, just click the + icon at the top of the toolbar. Once the new category is created, click the header on the page to rename it.
Creating Pages and Links
Within any category, you can create new pages that link to each other. The easiest way to create a page is to type a forward slash / followed by the new page's name. This will create a link that takes you directly to that new page. You can follow the same process to create sub-pages within a page.
To view all the links associated with a category, click the link icon on the far right of the category's header. This will take you to a page displaying all related links. From there, you also have the option to show all links from every category in your project.
