Toolbar

The toolbar puts all the key tools you need to format and improve your writing right at your fingertips. Here is a breakdown of what each button does.

Undo/Redo: Instantly undo or redo your last action.

Text Align: Align your text to the left, center, or right.

Bold, Italic, Underline: Emphasize your text with bold, italic, or underline formatting.

AI Tools

Back Buttons: Quickly undo AI-generated changes.

Prompt Selector: A dropdown menu that lets you choose from a list of powerful AI prompts.

Forward Buttons: Once you select an AI prompt, apply it to the text by clicking this button.

Header/Lists: Add headers and Lists

Headings and List

Model Selector: Choose the AI model you want to power your prompts. You can select any model available through your OpenRouter account.

Lock: Protect parts of your text from being changed by the AI. Select a sentence, click the lock button, and it will turn red. The AI will then work around the locked text, leaving it untouched.

AI Chat/List: Opens the right-hand panel with two purposes:

AI Chat: Have a conversation with the AI to brainstorm ideas or get help with your writing.

Options List: When you apply an AI prompt, this panel displays different versions or suggestions for you to choose from.

Notes: Replace your chapter view with a dedicated notes section. Perfect for building a wiki, character codex, or other reference material for your project.

History: Track your progress by viewing and restoring previous versions of your work, so you never lose a good idea.
